R & A Gardner Switchboards Continues the 50 year old switchboard tradition of the past started by Mr. Reg Gardner & Mr. Albert Gardner of R. & A. Gardner Pty. Ltd in 1956.
Today, all the old traditions and workmanship that built the name still continues with Bradley Higgins and his team still designing and manufacturing Quality Switchboards and Distribution Boards to your needs !
And "Yes", they are to the new
AS/NZS61439.1/2-2016 Switchboard Standards !
Our Custom Main Switchboards, Distribution Boards and Control Panels all now carry the AS/NZS61439 label.
Just for interest:
Have our AS/NZS61439 boards changed in anyway from the old AS3439 boards... ?
No !
Its just that now, we have additional Certificates to say that what we have been manufactiuring for over 65 years are actually what they claim to be, a great complying board !
Some of those test are:
* Short circuit testing
* IP Testing from IP30, vented, to the full on IP66 Full Outdoor boards
* Corrosion Testing - Severity B
* Impact testing - 5kg / 100mm Hammer
** Soon to have some photos of our board being impact tested by non standard means, e.g.
* 43 Tonne Truck + a Drunk Driver at 60KPH (Car)
* Custom Boards - they just can not be beaten for Toughness !
* Glow wire testing our our support systems
